Donation & Refund Policy

Before launch: the Foundation should replace this draft with a policy reviewed against its actual registration status, accounting process and payment-gateway account.

Voluntary contributions

Donations are voluntary contributions intended to support the Foundation's educational mission. Donors should review the amount and details carefully before completing a payment.

Receipt & confirmation

After a Razorpay payment is verified, the website generates a simple donation receipt containing the receipt number and payment details. The donor may also send the verified payment details to Info.ambedkarlab@gmail.com for confirmation by the Foundation.

Tax treatment

The current website does not claim that donations qualify for an 80G deduction, CSR treatment or any other tax benefit. Those statements should only be enabled after valid registration details are supplied and verified.

Refund requests

If a donation was made because of a duplicate transaction or a clear payment error, a refund request may be considered subject to payment-gateway records, the Foundation's internal review and applicable law. Transaction charges already incurred may not always be recoverable.

Foreign contributions

The website is configured for INR contributions. Foreign-source donations should not be solicited or accepted through the website unless the Foundation has confirmed its eligibility and compliance obligations under applicable Indian law.
